This opportunity is based in Washington, D.C. Position Info: Intern: Coordinate implementation of new initiatives Write, collect responses, and analyze traveler surveys Author e-mails, newsletters, and communications to travelers Maintain travel program intranet web pages Evaluate and analyze the impact of new products and services Communicate with travelers and vendors to resolve issues Assist with design of internal social networks for travel information sharing Support Senior Director with basic administrative duties Participate in special projects Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Excellent academic record Current enrollment in a college or university, working toward a Bachelor's Degree Must possess at least two of the following Leadership experience Customer service experience Experience working in a team environment Experience working in an office Interest in travel with personal experience in basic travel functions and scenarios (i.e. using online travel websites, making reservations, flying, staying in hotels, etc.) Available to work 20-35 hours per week, and start immediately Ideal Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail and phone with internal and external customers Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities Ability to take initiative and successfully overcome challenges Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail and phone with internal and external customers Proven experience handling confidential information Attention to detail Proven computer experience, preferably with experience in analyzing and calculating data in MS Excel and familiarity with MS Access Ability to identify and implementing process improvements Experience with social networking sites (such as: Facebook, Linkedin, Trip Advisor) An Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer *LI2
