The Basics: The OtterBox Internship Program encourages a mutually beneficial environment where students gain practical skills through meaningful tasks learn about the inner-workings of our various business operations and OtterBox is strengthened by the skills and talent students bring to our teams. This will provide the intern with opportunities for growth and learning (and a pay check!), while being exposed to new and innovative ideas. We’re raising the bar on creative content expectations at OtterBox! The Creative Intern will work with the creative team to develop exceptional strategic and creative content for OtterBox customers. This intern will contribute to the videography effort to develop the personality and brand of OtterBox. What You’ll Do (but not limited to): • Participate in creative sessions to communicate company design needs with team • Complete videography projects • Work cross-functionally to investigate departments’ needs • Monitor brand guidelines to ensure design projects align with OtterBox’s strategy What You’re Made of: Communication skills, creativity, organizational agility, presentation skills, time management, vision and purpose What You Need (but not limited to): • In progress or completed Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Multimedia, or related field • Experience working with traditional and non-traditional media, online, mobile, video, social, in-store, POS and packaging materials • Knowledge and practice of videography, video editing, and marketing with videos Dates and Duration: OtterBox will bring on interns based on the school semesters: spring, summer, and fall. A student will be limited to no more than two semesters at OtterBox as an intern. An intern’s contract will end after one semester, at which point the manager will evaluate performance and need to determine whether the internship will continue for a second semester. Interns may be considered for full time positions in the same manner as any other applicant and must apply for an open position to be considered. Eligibility: Students must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program at the undergraduate (preferably at the Junior level or higher) or graduate level or be recent college graduates (within 1 year) to be eligible to apply for OtterBox internships.
