Apply for this job online Refer a friend to this job More information about this job: Summary: The Supply Chain Systems Intern is responsible for supporting and improving Value Chain processes. Provide support to Value Chain through data mining and analysis; design, development and evaluation of reports; processes assessment, recommendation, and implementation; and troubleshoot and provide education on various systems. Responsibilities: • Continually seek ways to improve how work is accomplished; Challenge the status quo. • Enable all processes through design, test, and configuration of systems (leverage current ERP to increased utilization) or through the design of exception reports to drive work processes. • Participate in continuous improvement events and workshops. • Engage internal customers on a day-to-day basis as a change agent to help them solve problems and identify opportunities. • Proactively identify and implement systems driven productivity enhancing solutions that specifically target reduction/elimination of manual, repetitive and error-prone data manipulation/communication. • Provide statistical, quantitative, qualitative and analytical support where and when needed. • Assist with analyzing data on projects • Create spreadsheets in Excel • Analyze data in Excel • PowerPoint presentations • Query information in MS SQL server management studio • Create reports (Crystal, MS Access, etc.) Education: (Pursuing) Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or Bachelor of Arts in Business, or related field required
