Development Intern Job Title: Development Intern Job Type: Full-Time Location: Minneapolis, MN Job Description: THE POSITION – Development Intern An internship position with Dominium would give you the opportunity to gain professional experience in real estate development, financing, acquisition, distressed asset work-outs, and new construction. Interns assist the associates, developers, and project partners, with all aspects of the real estate development process. This includes market analysis, acquisitions analysis, review of investment agreements and other legal documents, project planning, construction administration, and much more. Interns are paid a competitive hourly wage and are provided a fully furnished apartment. Located in a suburb just west of Minneapolis, Dominium is the development, acquisition and ownership arm of a 40 year-old company founded by two graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Madison—David Brierton and Jack Safar. Brierton and Safar built Dominium into one of the largest and fastest growing multifamily development companies in the upper-Midwest. Since 1994, the size of the company’s portfolio has more than quadrupled to 20,000 units located in 20 states. During this period of growth, Dominium has tackled some of the largest and most complex transactions in the multifamily industry, earning the company a reputation for financial expertise and for a creative approach to real estate.
