South Temple, Salt Lake City Type Internship Description Work directly with the Events Coordinator to assist in planning author tours, pitch author events to booksellers nationwide, talk on the phone with booksellers and contact schools to schedule author tours, and help plan and execute signing events and author launch parties. This is a paid internship opportunity ($8.00/hr) working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for a 15-week time period beginning in January and ending in April 2013. Required Skills Applicants should be a marketing, public relations, or communications major currently working towards a degree or recently graduated. Must be a self-starter and work well in a team environment, open and willing to talk on the phone, proficient in Word and Excel with ability to easily learn new computer programs, excellent verbal and writing skills, and willingness to learn all facets of product marketing.
