Manage projects to improve key business processes Conduct financial analysis with a global perspective of quality and cost-saving opportunities Operations Interacting with different levels of the organization Responsible for setting goals and achieving results in process design and methods analysis, operations analysis and improvement, and performance measurement and audit Continuous improvement to manufacture high-quality products Initiate creative thinking and contribute consistently Work in cross-functional groups to implement cost-effective, capable, and safe manufacturing processes Plan and coordinate the implementation and preventive measures to assure production and quality goals Actively participate in Six Sigma project teams Skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams and lead others Communicates complex topics clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Tailors communications to fit the audience. You will be interacting and presenting to various levels of management. Strong work ethic and commitment to unleash the power of Cummins Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision Champion change and anticipate needs with a strategic mindset. Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision Six Sigma knowledge is a plus Candidates should be able to gather and analyze imperfect information and create recommendations that congruent with Cummins strategy Ability to apply strategic frameworks to analyze problems and develop solutions Work effectively with others, regardless of authority relationships, in order to get work done, solve problems and continuously improve quality Cope with change and uncertainty. Ability to see what needs to be done and contribute even when specific roles and responsibilities may be unclear Education/Experience Currently enrolled in a full-time, academic program at an accredited college or university.
