Introduction We are currently seeking a student to join our processor verification tools group that builds random test generators and coverage systems used by multiple design teams within ARM. As an Intern, your duties will include: Working with engineers to resolve customer issues through the analysis of machine level traces Debugging source code Enhance Existing software features Writing scripts to aid in customer understanding of test output Running regressions This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the latest processor design and verification technologies. Job Requirements Essential Skills and Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline Ability to work for 40 hours per week for the spring and summer semesters Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Applicants should have some knowledge through coursework or work experience in most of the following areas: Good understanding of microprocessor architecture Experience with C, C++, Verilog or VHDL Experience with Perl or Python Experience in Microprocessor design verification preferred Interpersonal Skills Ability to cooperate and communicate well with processor design and verification teams Motivated to continuously develop skills and accept a variety of responsibilities as part of contributing to the design center’s success Demonstrated positive, flexible attitude and respect for all members of the team Willingness to improve designs and repeatedly attempt to develop solutions to difficult problems ARM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
