Job Description: Help create historical stories and find relevant facts that will be prominently displayed in a new product experience which delivers family history discoveries – in a simple and meaningful way. The job will have a key role in generating a significant amount of new content that will be used to help users tell their family stories. For example, if your grandfather enlisted in the Army in WWII, we would display relevant context about WWII and the historical era around WWII (both national and local in scope). Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements: Research historical content Capture content that meets specific criteria and enter it into a database Write stories that describe what it was like to live in a specific historical time and place, e.g. Utah in 1939 Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering on content deliverables and format Required Skills: Comfortable with word processing and MS Office Editorial flare Ability to work independently Passion for history and/or genealogy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Pay is $17-$22 per hour depending on experience.
