This role will provide assistance to the Manager, Shareholder Services for a major project which will include a change in our core operating system. Our team provides Customer Service to Disney shareholders by phone, completes account maintenance and perform certain financial transactions for shareholders. Responsibilities • Learning the current core operating system (CSSII Sungard system) and becoming proficient in its use • Preparing files for transition to a new system (electronic and paper-based) • Working with excel spreadsheets to evaluate the new business model • Supporting the Manager, Shareholder Services in transition work for all unclaimed property requirements • Helping answer phones and perform other shareholder services duties during our busiest season (December – April) • Document processes for development of a training manual. • Document training manual with Shareholder Services Manager for all positions within the department • Assist in the cleaning up of data to be readied for transition to a new system; cleaning up paper-based files Basic Qualifications • Strong analytics, financial modeling skills, accounting background • Familiarity with branded consumer products and/or media businesses • Familiarity with working in or with large organizations Required Education • Bachelors Degree • Working towards a Masters or MBA preferred
