This program is part of the overall Corporate Services Summer Associates program. Quality and Process Improvement Summer Associates work in the Center for Quality Improvement and Innovation. This department helps ensure that UPMC provides the best possible patient care by increasing the pace of improvements in quality, and disseminating best practices throughout the health system.
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for students majoring in industrial engineering, communications, business or a related field. Ideally, students should complete this program between their junior and senior year 多 however, exceptional sophomores, current seniors, and graduate students will be considered.
A cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 is strongly preferred, and preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated leadership ability through their studies, employment, or extracurricular activities.
