Job Description: Scripps Networks' Research and Strategy team is currently looking for an energetic, detail-oriented intern. During this internship, the ideal candidate will have an opportunity to learn about various aspects of media-related research as it relates to content distribution, marketing, advertising sales, etc. During this internship, the intern will also have an opportunity to:- Learn to retrieve and analyze Nielsen ratings and basic website metrics - Compare Nielsen ratings to video usage on other platforms (VOD, SNI websites or syndicated video websites)- Create a summary presentation on a topic of interest to one of our client groups or fellow Research groups- Develop research related documents for marketing, scheduling, programming, & press - Gain in exposure to SNI’s overall structure and how that is the same & different vs other Programmers in the cable industry (ie, is The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Math, Media Studies or related field. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have excellent quantitative skills, experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint and have an interest in the media industry. This is a paid internship.
