Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, but may be able to work over 15 hours per week based on available work load. Rate of pay is based on how many college credit hours have been completed and is between 10.57 and $17.39/ hour. Student Interns are eligible to participate in SRP's Tuition Assistant Program after 6 months of employment. JOB BRIEF: Student Intern responsibilities include: Create, maintain and update excel spreadsheets for Windows 7 deployment project and processes. Work closely with Windows 7 Project Manager to ensure appropriate software spreadsheets are communicated to clients. Provide client support to maintain and enhance existing applications and hardware. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Preferred requirements include familiarity with many of the following: Windows Operating Systems (XP, 7) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) Familiar with the principles and concepts of IT business analysis Well organized and with the ability to follow a detail process through several steps Excellent communication skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Selected candidate must be enrolled in college, preferably in an IT-related curriculum--Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, and have completed coursework to develop skills appropriate for the assignment.
