INTERN - S&P CIQ IT - Application Developer-23974 Description S&P Capital IQ is currently seeking a self-motivated bright, and talented individual to intern in our Equity Research IT department. The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting simple programs or modules. This role involves learning all stages of the software development process and assisting in implementations. • Learning development methodologies and systems development. • Building and maintaining applications and components based on standard corporate development models, languages and tools. • Understanding business requirements and participating in systems design. • Collaborating with project team members and sharing knowledge. • Assists in resolving defects identified during testing and assists in the execution of user acceptance testing. Qualifications Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college/university and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. A concentration in computer science or a related engineering is highly desired due to the technical nature of this position.
