Description As a member of the hospice interdisciplinary team and under the direction of the Chaplain, the Chaplain Intern is responsible for assessing the spiritual and religious needs of patients and their families, arranging for the provision of spiritual and religious support in accordance with their wishes, and supporting families in the bereavement process. Chaplain Interns provide bereavement counseling to family members as identified and work under the clinical supervision of the Supervising Chaplain. You must meet the following criteria to be considered for the chaplain internship: Bachelors degree from an accredited college, university or divinity school is required Enrollment in an accredited seminar/divinity school or one of the following master's level programs: counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and teaching skills Must have a reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance Demonstrated commitment to Seasons Hospice’s philosophy of care, values, mission statement and organizational culture
