OUR INTERN PROGRAM: Our intern program is a robust experience that offers interns exposure to the business world and a meaningful work experience. HOURS: Full time in the summer, working 37.5 hours per week SUMMARY: Performs a variety of general administrative duties and clerical functions in support of the branch office. DUTIES: • Assist with administrative functions including answering phones and responding to basic client questions and forwards more advanced calls to Client Relationship Associate or Financial Advisors for handling. • Process paperwork and documents necessary to assist others in the department • Schedules various meetings, conference calls, etc. for Financial Advisors • Assist with various projects from Financial Advisors (i.e. helping transition new teams to Baird, research companies or stocks, assist with the coordination of branch or client events) • Create various Excel spreadsheets • Perform filing and copy projects • Perform additional duties and assist with projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRMENTS: • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance preferred. GPA of 3.0 or higher. • Prior office experience in a corporate or university setting • Must have excellent customer service skills and exceptional telephone etiquette • Must have a professional and positive attitude • Experience with the Microsoft Office package
