Job Description The company seeks a deeply analytical business intelligence intern with a mild Excel-addiction, passion for fashion, and ability to generate actionable insights from data to support break-neck growth and strategic initiatives. Analytical & Reporting Duties Analyze and maintain reporting dashboard tied to KPIs for all segments of business. Example KPIs include email metrics, social media indicators, ROI, CPA, etc. Collaborate cross-functionally to provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to editorial, advertising sales, and senior management Deliver analysis and recommendations to the Director of Business Intelligence based on findings Work with Director to identify, develop, and forecast, and analyze growth opportunities for Refinery29 such as content growth, paid marketing, and e-commerce growth Digital Marketing Duties Optimize keyword campaigns across major search engines (i.e., Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook) Maximize ROI for all paid channels through rigorous A/B and multivariable testing Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics Identify trends and make recommendations for action to Director Qualifications Core Competencies & Qualifications Excel modeling and reporting mastery (i.e., Do your reports and models tell a compelling business story? Can you present data so that it's actionable?) Web analytics fluency (Ideally, at least one hour weekly in current role or proven track record PowerPoint fluency VLOOKUP and PIVOT TABLE with the best of them Have experience in any of the following: strategy or management consulting, quantitative marketing, financial analysis, market analysis, media planning, or retail buying and planning Possess a Bachelor's degree from a rigorous academic program Personal Character Possess interest in fashion, cosmetics, e-commerce, start-ups, and digital media Thrive on the energy of a start-up and can "see beyond his or her desk" Ask awesome questions, takes action early, and wants to be a part of building a brand Additional Information Does this sound like you?
