Marketing / Communications degree preferred. Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ Internship Job Summary: Learns and utilizes text analytics software to analyze consumer postings in Social Media (blogs, Twitter, etc.) and provide internal clients with value-added information. Accountabilities will include creation of standard reporting, dashboards, alerts, and ad-hoc analysis. Collaborates with Social Media Listening Analyst and Consumer Experience Analysts to identify topics, trends, or areas of special interest. ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Learns and utilizes Clarabridge text analytics software to categorize and to analyze consumer postings from Social Media sources as well as to enhance analytical capabilities on existing internal consumer contacts. 2. Identifies topics, trends, or areas of inquiry occurring within consumer conversations taking place in Social Media and in interactions with our own staff via traditional contact methods, providing details to Consumer Services Management and other departments (i.e. Corporate Communications, Marketing). 3. Creation of standard reporting, dashboards, alerts, and ad-hoc analysis. 4. Participates in emergency pager coverage 24-hours a day, Monday through Sunday, on weekly intervals within established rotation schedule. 5. Meets and maintains company and department attendance and punctuality standards. 6. Performs other duties and responsibilities, as required or requested. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED · Must have strong PC skills with working knowledge of Business Objects, Microsoft Word and Excel · Passion for Social Media communication · Knowledge and understanding of all policies, procedures and promotions enabling identification of problems and effective resolution. · Must be well organized and detail oriented. · Effectively manages interpersonal relationships, exhibits positive, supportive, and cooperative relationships with others. · Ability to analyze consumer feedback and trends. · Ability to prioritize a variety of demands and projects. · Exhibit sound judgment in handling confidential matters. · Ability to work independently. · Ability to work and maintain a positive attitude under pressure in a continually changing environment.
