Job Description: Requirements Description: This is an internship position - Please DO NOT post to this position unless you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program at a local DFW college. The primary function of this position is to record, audit, and track freight invoices for accuracy and adjust payments to carriers as required. There will be additional tasks for International Logistics and Compliance as related to current projects. Examples include rate analysis, processes for freight forwarders, assistance with RFQs, network analysis, and supplier compliance procedures. Responsibilities: Record, track, and process invoices for payment Audit invoices to ensure rate accuracy Assist in research and resolution of discrepant invoices and past due billings as required Take corrective action with carriers to prevent repetitive billing problems and improve initial billing accuracy Audit/analyze rates from carriers Update statistical reports related to invoicing Generating/analyzing reports of transportation activities Assist International Logistics team as needed Assist International Compliance team as needed.
