Description Hess Corporation is a leading global independent energy company, engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, as well as in refining and in marketing refined petroleum products, natural gas, and electricity. The Service Delivery Internship in Woodbridge, NJ is based at the Company's Marketing and Refining business Headquarters. The M&R Service Delivery team is responsible for providing consistently excellent IT service and support for about 650 onsite users, in addition to remote users located in Hess Retail stores. The successful candidate will have strong and professional IT customer support skills, strong technical skills, and the drive to always exceed expectations. . Responsibilities: · Provide professional, thorough and timely user support for office and remote users (remote dial-in and VPN). This includes resolving desktop, laptop, printers (mainly HP) and other hardware issues, as well as issues with Microsoft Office suite and proprietary software applications. · Coordinate and implement adds, moves and changes to technical equipment. · Troubleshoot all technologies provided to users (e.g., cell phones, blackberrys, home networks). · Set up projectors, video conferences, TelePresence, and wireless technology for meetings in a timely and professional manner. · Perform other duties as required and requested. . Qualifications · Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technology related fields · Basic understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2000 and Windows XP), Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2003 and Office XP), and HP desktops, laptops, and printers. · Knowledge of AV equipment, conferencing/TelePresence, and Avaya phones preferred. · Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all levels of management over the phone and face to face. · Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team. · High level of organizational skills and the ability to follow-through and resolve issues. · Ability to consistency and accurately follow verbal or documented instructions. · Some work or internship experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
