Heavy.com is seeking high-energy interns with strong sense of humor and the ability to write funny copy who have a passion for digital media and pop culture. Ideal candidates will thrive on spotting breaking news and emerging trends -- seizing on both to produce electrifying, highly sharable content comedy content. As an intern you will work closely with the editor-in-chief and writers. You'll be asked to contribute story ideas, original articles, image hunting, news and video aggregation and more. Social media savvy is key (Twitter and Reddit savants welcome), and SEO and Photoshop skills are pluses. Interns should be enrolled in school during time of the internship and will be asked to work roughly 20- 30 hours a week. A stipend is provided. Email us with the subject line "Editorial Internship."
