We are a design studio for startups. Specifically - green, sustainable, cleantech startups. We believe design can literally change the world. We are looking for a self-directed visual design intern or student to work in our design practice. This is your chance to build a large portfolio of diverse client types, have an immense amount of control during the creative process and possibly transition into a full or part time position at one of our startups (or Greenstart) as they grow. Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with creative leads on developing startup identities, user interfaces, and the overall brand look and feel. - Concept development, ideation & iteration, presentation of your work to creative leads and startup founders. - Asset creation and production for all deliverables. Skills Required: - Adobe CS5 Suite - Rough and Detailed Sketching - Brainstorming/Ideation session preparation and support - Basic knowledge of web, apps, HTML We expect you to bring your own equipment and software. You'll be working directly with David Merkoski (former ECD of frog design) on all aspects of creative delivery and development. In addition to designing startups, you will also influence Greenstart's own brand including concept direction for video products (we have our own internal movie crew!), website, and communication materials. We expect candidates to have either graduated or be in their Junior/Senior year due to the high level of autonomy and responsibility - but prove us wrong! More importantly we expect you to care deeply about design and sustainability. Our hours are extremely flexible and can accommodate almost any schedule.
