Description Supervision and Regulation is looking for a Spring Intern (PT) to work with it's Large Bank Supervision Group (LBG). The Large Banking Group and it's teams supervise Large, Regional, and Foreign Banking Organizations. The selected intern will be working on short-term/ad-hoc assignments, special projects and assignments. Some assignments/projects may have investigative components that require extensive interaction with management and staff. Generally, interns will conduct research and gather data and perform analyses in order to arrive at informed conclusions that they present in writing or orally, or both. Successful candidates • have above average ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing • have strong analytical skills • must be accurate in mathematical calculations and enjoy detail work • possess the ability to plan, identify hierarchy of priorities, and comprehend and master concepts and procedures • must be familiar with standard software (Microsoft Office suite) and use of a personal computer. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS • Minimum Bachelor level studies currently in sophomore, junior, or senior year of program obtaining a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related major. MBA/Graduate Student preferred. • Currently enrolled in Bachelor or Graduate Degree program as a student • Minimum - 3.0 GPA By law, this position requires that you fall within one of the following citizenship categories: · United States Citizen · United States National · Lawful Permanent Resident Alien (“green card” holder) who plans to apply for citizenship when he/she becomes eligible and applies for citizenship within six months of becoming eligible. If you are selected for interview, you will be required to present documentation of your compliance with the above requirement prior to interview. Under no circumstances will the Reserve Bank offer this position to you if you cannot provide proof of your compliance with this requirement. Access to Confidential Supervisory Information: Due to the Supervision & Regulation Division’s access to confidential supervisory information concerning financial institutions, employees in this position will be required to disclose and address conflicts of interest within the financial industry. Examples include stock ownership and indebtedness.
