Chrysler Group's human resources team seeks highly motivated, innovative and inspired individuals. Occupational Health and Safety interns are assigned to manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include implementation of standardized plant health and safety programs to ensure compliance to corporate health and safety policies and state and federal regulations, with heavy World Class Manufacturing involvement. The Occupational Health & Safety intern will impact corporate savings through elimination of occupational injuries/illnesses, property damage and improvement of production efficiency as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all employees. Assignments are meaningful to the plant and company, allowing interns to take responsibility for major tasks, gain experience and a sense of personal accomplishment while contributing to the successful production of Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep vehicles. Position Requirements Completion of sophomore year studying Occupational Health & Safety at an ABET-accredited university with a 3.0 GPA or higher (based on a 4.0 scale). Strong interest in automotive industry. Strong written and oral communication skills. High energy level. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing and database applications). Willing to work any shift, including weekends. Willing to relocate during internship.
