Our Construction/Procurement Summer Intern job will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our Power industry Clients provide a safe and reliable source of Electric power to heat homes and schools, run factories, and provide goods and services we all depend upon. Each day your assistance as a Summer Intern for our Power Business Group will enable our utility Clients to meet the Electric power needs of their customers. Our Construction/Procurement Summer Interns: Work in our Procurement and Contracts Group and assists team members in the Power Business Group. Manage their own quality of work, meet deadlines and adhere to assignment scope of work. Engage in entry-level procurement activities under close supervision Assist with the generation and filing of procurement instruments Interface with Procurement systems Create or maintain simple databases and/or spreadsheets Interface with suppliers and subcontractors SPECIAL NOTE: CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H1B, etc) to fill this position. Basic Qualifications Currently attending an accredited College or University seeking Bachelor's degree in either Construction Management or Business related field. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite including: MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. GPA of 2.0 or higher is required Preferred Qualifications GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred Possession of good English language writing and Mathematical skills.
