This position has research, writing and communication responsibilities. The duration for this position is three months. · Assists in identifying new target areas and business pportunities to increase company profits and business interests. · Search commodity industry contacts for appropriate leads for CSC's ClimatEdge services; verify appropriate contact information and develop pipeline database · Initiates contact with qualified leads, describing services and setting up calls/meetings. · Maintains communication with current clients to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate future opportunities. · Builds personal networks with internal and external clients including contemporaries, vendors, clients, colleagues and industry leaders to maintain business relationships and identify additional opportunities. · Distributes leads to business developers to ensure potential opportunities are researched in a timely manner. · Experience working with financial services (commodity experience preferred). · 1 to 3 years experience with investment management, and commodity markets preferred. · Sales experience, preferably with syndicated and/or subscription based products. · Experience closing deals preferred.
