The San Diego based non-profit animal rights organization, Animal Protection and Rescue League (http://www.aprl.org/) is looking for part-time and full-time interns to work on a variety of campaigns & office tasks. APRL is involved in several campaigns ranging from wildlife protection to advocating for factory farm welfare legislation to vegetarian outreach. Possible intern tasks: * research * community organizing * coordinating educational outreach * data entry/phone calls * coordinating events * office tasks Qualifications for the internship: * A passion for animal rights! * Oral and written communication skills * Organizational skills * Self-motivation * Proficiency in typing and word processing * At commitment of at least 10 hours per week (part-time) or 40/week (full-time) for one month or more Compensation for interns: * A small stipend upon completion of internship (between $100-200) * Letter of recommendation (if intern successfully completes internship) * An addition to your resume * The satisfaction of helping a good cause!
