We’re hiring a Visual Merchandising Intern for our Fall 2012 Internship Program! Aéropostale, Inc. is a mall-based, specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories, principally targeting 14 to 17 year-old young women and men through its Aéropostale® stores and seven to 12 year-old kids through its P.S. from Aéropostale® stores. What exactly does a Visual Merchandising Intern do? Sample Management Mock Store maintenance Prepping Samples for presentations and rigging Data Entry in Word and Excel Image retouching in Photoshop program Administrative/Miscellaneous Attending and participating in monthly seasonal floorsets for both classic and lifestyle stores. Assisting the Visual Presentation Planner in retouching floorset/marketing images in software programs such as adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Attending meeting such as bestsellers marketing, visual updates, and providing recaps for the team. Sounds pretty cool, right?
