DESCRIPTION 3Degrees helps organizations buy, sell and market environmental commodities such as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and verified carbon offsets. 3Degrees partners with organizations that seek to accelerate the development of a low-carbon, renewable energy economy by increasing demand for renewable energy and carbon offsets, channeling capital to renewable energy and carbon reduction projects and improving the efficiency of environmental market. 3Degrees seeks a passionate and motivated student in a 4-year undergraduate College or University or graduate program to work in 3Degrees' Portland, OR office location. The Renewable Energy Office Intern will work on a variety of projects in order to learn about and support 3Degrees' operations. DUTIES Day to day work may include: Research projects and subsequent written reports to summarize findings, Drafting marketing materials for renewable energy outreach, Log weekly data from outreach efforts using MS Excel, Data analysis projects using Excel, and Additional projects that arise over the course of the internship. QUALIFICATIONS A qualified candidate will be studying in a related field, such as (but not limited to) Business, Communications, Marketing, or Environmental Studies Has an interest in the renewable energy industry Willingness to learn the Microsoft Office Suite of software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and be involved in a wide variety of projects Able to work well independently and with others Use of personal laptop preferred For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
