Sample Internship Offer Letter

Brown_arrow_21 Written by Nathan Parcells on May 21, 2012

Properly on boarding intern candidates is an essential part of an organized and professional internship program.  After an intern accepts your offer, you should send them a .pdf offer letter (feel free to use the template below) to get them officially employed at your company.  To comply with the law, interns should be added as employees, put on payroll and state and for worker's comp taxes withheld.  Some companies offer interns full benefits, while others only choose to do this for FT interns that work for longer than 6 months.  This template uses a clause that does not offer benefits immediately.
