The IT department supports web programming, web development, software testing, quality assurance, desktop support and security. • Application Development - The legal application development department of IS&T develops and supports custom software solutions mainly for the legal, tax and business and law affairs departments. • Desktop Support – This department is responsible for installing computers, troubleshooting computer problems, learning computer concepts. • IS&T Administration - The Online Database Administration Group is responsible for supporting back-end databases for most external MTV websites • Project Management - Project Management Organization (PMO) is responsible for project management of the web development projects. Assist managing project resources (time off schedules, site support and buildmaster schedules) • Quality Assurance - The Interactive Services QA Group is responsible for testing multimedia websites and digital music projects for all of MTV Networks digital properties. • Web and Mobile Programming/Development - We develop, test and support mobile applications and components on various platforms. Candidate Eligibility • Geared toward college juniors, seniors, graduate students and law students. • Open during fall, spring and summer semesters. • Students must be registered for an internship for academic credit with their college or university, and must provide official documentation on school letterhead confirming this information upon acceptance of the internship. • Requires a minimum of 10 weeks (no weekends). • Students must be available to work a minimum of two full days per week; some areas may require additional days. • Application dates for resume submissions are rolling.
