Campus Ambassador (An On-Campus Role) Internship

Staying on campus this summer? 

We're looking for talented Campus Development Associates to work directly with our Sales and Marketing teams to help THM expand on college campuses. Students completing this program will become familiar with all aspects of the business development process. You will learn how to generate leads, perform sales and marketing analytics and pitch a product to both consumers and campus organizations and publications.

This position comes with lots of perks including commission for sales leads, inside sales training, letters of recommendation and the opportunity to experience firsthand what it's like to work at a startup. 

Responsibilities:

-emailing and calling professors
-meeting with professors 
-organizing product demonstrations
-acting as a liaison to deliver product feedback from students and professors back to the engineering team
-tracking and measuring sales and marketing outreach efforts 
-reaching out to campus organizations and publications 

Qualifications:

-High Achieving: You'll be working directly with professors, so you need to be committed to education (and have the grades to prove it). Bonus points if you already have an established relationship with a number of profs on campus! 

-Passionate: You're ready to take on some responsibility and are excited about our mission.

-Awesome communicator: Your main goal is to effectively communicate the awesomeness that is Top Hat Monocle to professors. Being able to successfully convey this is a non-negotiable. Anticipating objections, making a solid case for our product and being enthusiastic are crucial for success in this role.

-Organized and dedicated: Top-notch organization skills are a must for this position, as you'll be responsible for reaching out to professors, following up and maintaining open lines of communication with our executive team.

Lastly, you'll have tremendous room for growth within the company. We like smart, talented people. If you do a great job, you'll be able to join our team full-time upon graduation (working in our Toronto office, San Francisco office, or even remotely). Plus, the position could evolve into levels of escalating responsibility, with potential for management and pivoting into other elements of the business as well (community management, business development, etc) as you graduate.
