The Interactive Communications Department of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking intern candidates for web and mobile projects. What is interactive communications? Interactive communications encompasses the principles and practices of creating and integrating graphics, text and video into a seamless presentation on digital platforms including the Web and mobile devices. Interactive communications experience often leads to careers in project management, web production, interactive content development, digital media production, user experience design or social media. Required for this internship: • Feel immense LOVE for Philadelphia • Have a thirst to develop a portfolio of and experience with digital projects • Own projects with a positive collaborative attitude What you will gain: • A diverse portfolio and work experience, specifically in web development, content management systems, and mobile platforms. • Proficiency in HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft programs, and Content Management Systems (used to manage websites). • Experience in the tourism industry, interactive communications field and a high achieving marketing department. • A team of positive and collaborative professionals. • An opportunity to promote Philadelphia to the world digitally as an awesome place to play. Education Requirements: You must be 18 years of age or older and attending a college. You will receive college credit for this internship. It is the applicant's responsibility to set up the internship with their school. All positions are unpaid.
