Supply Chain at Nestle Purina

Does an internship that allows you to gain an in-depth understanding of the full supply chain process from manufacturing to retail in this comprehensive role sound perfect to you?

As a supply chain intern you will receive an extensive orientation reviewing the culture of Nestlé Purina as well as category and brand overviews, retail selling and merchandising basics. In addition, you will participate in extensive supply chain training providing information on sales, reporting/metrics, business program details and an overview of the corporate logistics department. Following your training, you will have the opportunities to complete manufacturing training which includes visiting the Davenport and Clinton factories. During the factory visits, you will gain a deeper understanding of the manufacturing process of pet food, transportation, warehousing, raw materials and quality assurance.

After the completion of training, you will be completing a real-world project which will be formally presented to a leadership team. Throughout the internship you will work closely with your supervisor to review training and project work.

• Supply Chain Majors or Business Majors with two months of Supply Chain experience.
