Would you like an internship that will give you hands-on, real-world experience in the
world of internal audit?

The Nestlé Market Audit team provides internal audit services to all areas of Nestlé’s North American operations across Canada, México, and the United States. As an internal audit intern, you will work with our team and directly assist in performing actual internal audit reviews. From your very first audit, you will work closely with a Team Leader and fellow Team Members to analyze various aspects of our company’s operations, and to test the strength and reliability of our critical internal controls. You will typically be working with 3-5 different team members on each audit project, and as you gain experience over the internship, you will be given more independence in the performance of your work. This is not just a behind the scenes role as you will be expected to help the overall audit team in presenting the results and recommendations from testing that you perform.

You will spend time in our Nestlé Purina Head Office, where the audit team is based, and you may have the opportunity to travel with your audit team throughout the summer depending on our project schedule. At the end of the program you will have gained experience in the planning and execution of audit procedures, completed fieldwork and testing, and presented your findings and recommendations to operating management. The experience will provide an in depth opportunity to understand the rewards and challenges of a career as an internal auditor.

Majors
• Finance, Accounting, Internal audit or a related business field of study

Year in College
• Successful completion of sophomore or junior year OR students who are currently enrolled in a IIA Accredited Center for Internal Auditing Excellence
