Operation Work Warriors
Operation Work Warriors is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans transition from the military to the civilian workforce. Our programs are built to promote long term professional success for veterans through webinars, work experience programs and assistance of professional mentors. Our organization helps veterans gain work experience through “The 90 Initiative”, our work campaign to help reduce veteran unemployment. Our monthly webinars cover topics such as basic investing to the importance of social media in the hiring process. All services are free to veterans as well as membership.
Each spring, Rainier Scholars invites promising students of color to embark on an 11-year, life-changing journey. It demands hard work and commitment. In exchange, it offers invaluable opportunity. In four phases—from our intensive 14-month academic phase to placement into the area’s top independent and public schools to ongoing leadership development and support which lasts through the final day of college—our scholars learn the skills, make the connections and accumulate the knowledge and experience that will enable them to excel in college and assume positions of leadership as adults.
InternMatch is excited to work with globally leading academic groups to help their students improve job readiness and break into careers they love.
